Celebrating World Teachers’ Day

World Teachers’ Day is celebrated each year on October 5th to recognize the important role teachers play in shaping future generations.

A teacher’s influence extends far beyond the classroom. Teachers encourage curiosity and help young people build confidence, develop resilience, and reach their full potential. The lessons they teach and the relationships they build can leave an impression that lasts a lifetime.

As trustee and administrator of the Teachers’ Pension Plan, we are proud to serve the teachers of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is our privilege to support teachers’ retirement security during their working years and through retirement.

On World Teachers’ Day, we extend our gratitude to all teachers, past and present, for their dedication, care, and commitment to the profession.
